I seem to have acquired an angel.

Her name is Karunamayi. I'm beginning to wonder if ex-CID are just assigned one upon entrance to Torchwood.

To be honest, she's a bit... she's very strange. Friendly, but odd. And she seemed to take the first opportunity to leave, though she was very cheerful about having met me.

Why not. I don't seem to be making much of a difference around the hotel any more. I may as well see what I can do for Torchwood.

Is it just me, or has the rate of new Wanderers dropped off?

This is mad. The mayor of my city of residence was just assassinated, and I'm sitting on my arse watching it on the telly. I never thought I would miss CID this much.

Well, they've got us all quartered in individual rooms in the hotel. I've been in and out of the basement; a lot of the Wanderers don't seem to think it's very safe, though it only seems a bit grim, to me. Why isn't there any command structure here? Or at least an oversight structure? I've just had to explain to one of our new arrivals, a Major General in the Egyptian Armed Forces, that there are four people here who could be considered to be in command, and the two who are invested in being in command have been butting heads at every opportunity.
